Gucci Update
 

Good Afternoon everyone. So sorry I didn't post earlier. I have being on the phone all morning. Gucci still a little wobbly but seems a bit better. She ate and drank water and haven't vomit yet. So I think that is a positive sign. Today she took her med like a trooper, yesterday I had to force it in. The vet call me this morning and he said to keep her calm and she will get stronger now that she is eating. He said to keep checking her urine and poop. She had a bit of diarrhea this morning full of charcoal. I told the vet and he said to call him back if she vomits and keeps having the diarrhea. He said they gave her so much charcoal yesterday that will take a day or 2 for her body to get rid of it all, so to expect her poops to be dark.Her gums are a little pink, so the vet said to just make sure she eats and take her med and to call him if the gums get more pale.

I also spoke with Toby's mama and she told me what to look for and expect. Her Toby got into some poison last year. SO talking to her have given me more hope that my baby is going to be ok. Thank you so much Kelly.

Last nite I hardly slept. She kept going to her water bowl but the vet had told me not to give her any cause she was vomiting. I felt so bad for my girl, she only could had pieces of ice. Also she looked so drunk, so I was so scare that she could get hurt. Today she seems less drunk, so im hoping that she is getting better. When she is sleeping I keep waking her up to make sure she is fine. I guess Im a bit paranoid.

I want to thank everyone once again. Your prayers are working and I appreciated so much. Villette I owed you big time. You all are my heroes and you all have a huge special place in my heart.

Marie...I'm so glad to hear that Gucci is improving! I guess any of us would be paranoid in your situation and I understand why you'd keep checking her! It is such wonderful news and things look so much better than yesterday! I am thanking the good Lord for looking down on Gucci! Try to get some rest today...you poor thing...must be so all in! Best wishes...I'm looking forward to more great updates!!!

Marie, I am so sorry to hear about Gucci and I can't begin to imagine how upset and worried you are/were but I am so relieved as I kept reading to discover that she's doing better!

It makes me feel so good to know that if I ever need comfort that everyone here will be there for me.. we have such a good and loving community.
