| N'Stein had kennel cough at 11 weeks old and we went to the vet to get antibiotic. At that time I was training him for his number 1 and number 2 and I was using very strong cleaning products so those things didn't help him with is cough. I changed the strong stuff for vinegar. and that had reduced is coughing and he was able to get better faster.

| My Yorkie is now 8 months old and has been coughing since she was 3 months old. After being on zithromax several times the cough would come and go. Went and got a second opinion 3 weeks ago. After a chest x ray was done they found a partially collapsed trachea and signs of pneumonia that was never fully treated because the first vet never wanted to give a chest x ray. Can anyone believe that? I was told she needs to be on baytril for at least 3 weeks. This is the second week on baytril and the coughing is now in a controlled state. Only when she wakes up she coughs. Which I am told is common when there is fluid in the lungs. Does anyone have any experience with the drug baytril? Coughing for 5 months of your life cannot be confortable. I don't wish this on anybody's pet. I feel so bad for her. Say a prayer. Thank You. |
