| Jewel had another Seizure Jewel had another seizure about 20 minutes ago. It's her 4th one in February. Today's was a little strange. She was sound asleep and a neighbor came and rang the door bell. She got up and ran to the door barking. It's the first time I heard her bark in a couple of months. She was acting like her old self and it made me so happy. Jewel continued to bark after the neighbor left for about 2 minutes, I was going to grab my camer a video it for Dan but as I was going to get the camera, she started to seize. It was stronger than her recent episodes. But I got the ice pack and put it on her back and the seizure stopped in less than a minute. She's trying to "walk it off" now and is still not completely back to normal yet.

| Thank you for your concern. Jewel is fighting a neurological infection. She's been having seizures since May 05'. She is getting the best care and yes on meds too. She has been slowly recovering and has gone from 10+ seizures a month to now 4. We really believe Happy and Positive Thought are essential to her recovery so please keep on sending them to her! She is still trying to walk off the episode. It can last a few minutes to a couple of hours before she will settle down. Looks like it's gonna be a longer recovery for her tonight.

| I had a lab that had seizures and he was totally crazy while he was on the phenabarbatrol so the vet and I agreed to take him off and he was never quit the same.. They did all kinds of tests and nothing ever came back. He had them for like a week straight then he never had them again. Hope little Jewel gets back to cute herelf soon. Our love Taz and Sugar Bear

| Gosh, I'm sorry to hear that Jewel had another seizure...I know how hard that must be for you to see so often, but you're right, positive thoughts will help. I pray that she continues to recover and that she gets to a point where she's not having seizures anymore and is just completely healthy.
