| Im very sorry that you had to go through this! Just know you did EVERYTHING you could for him and it isnt your fault!!!!! Take care of yourself and know that atleast your baby isnt in anymore pain. It frustrates me to hear that the Vets are so ignorant there.

Stories like this just break my heart. I know they do everyone's. Wish I could think of something to say, but I can't. I'm sure most of us have lost one or more of our pets -- and it's just sad! Carol Jean

I'm so sorry this happened. I just saw your post. FWIW and since you have internet access, there is a site called Babel Fish that translates text from one language to another (including Korean & English) You just type it in. This is the url - http://world.altavista.com/ Assuming you are still in Korea, perhaps it will help you overcome the language barrier & get some answers from the vet/breeder.

Im soooo sorry for your loss. I too just got a baby yorkie who's very sick. Luckily, I have a reputable vet very very nearby so I've visited three times so far in the last 2 days. It's suchhhhh a shame that the vet that you took your puppy to was so inattentive and inept. But like others have said, you've done all that you can considering all the constraints. Please dont' blame yourself for the loss -- i sincerely hope that you feel better soon!

This is just an update on me: It's been a week now since he's been gone...and although the vets haven't been able to tell me what was wrong (or cared enough to find out) I really think it was parvo that killed him. I've been reading up on parvo, and it scares me to death because I go back home to the States in May. I have a baby back home whom I LOVE TO DEATH. I'm afraid that somehow I might transmit the virus to him. I know it sounds like a stretch to say that I might SOMEHOW carry the vrisu from Korea to America....But I'm afraid I might expose my Beau back home. What can I do to prevent this? Dunk my suitcases in bleah?! I think that's kind of impossible to do....So what measures can I take? Thank you all. I can't bear to lose my baby back home. I've had him for 4 years now, and he is SO precious to me and I miss him like crazy....Thank you....

Hi.. I just lost my baby to parvo so I've been reading up a lot on parvo as well.. From what I know, parvo can only be transmitted through the feces of ANOTHER dog who has parvo, so in this case your puppy that just passed away. If there's ANYTHING in your possession (clothes, blanket, water bottle, etc) that you suspect has had contact with your puppy's feces, then you need to wash it with clorox bleach... I think it was something like 1:30 ratio (bleach:water) and just scrub away. Parvo can live on inanimate object for up to 9 months, so be sure to wash everything and anything that you suspect has touched your puppy's feces. I wish you the best...
