I am at home w/ Trixie now. She seems like she feels fine. Still watching her like a hawk, no doubt, but she's actually playing insted of laying now. Still following up with our regular vet, but all seems better today! She also doesn't seem to object about the only eating chicken and rice aspect either.

Oh my gosh...she LOVES that duck. I can pick up one of her other toys and she goes to get the duck! And she has figured out how to get the eggs out and that they are what makes it squeak. I have never heard of a dog sleeping w/ a stuffed animal. But she will go get that thing and bring it up on the bed when it is time to go to sleep. I will have to see if I can sneak and get a picture of it. Kirby definately did a good job picking out her stuff. And we have gotten SO many compliments on her dress...I could really put your mom in business! Thank goodness she didn't have it on last night.

What a mess, but at least it does not sound too serious. You did the right thing by rushing her to the ER. I hope you got the mess cleaned up, and that you all get some rest. Please let us know how Trixie is doing.

Just to let you guys know, she is feeling much better today (Sunday) she has slept alot more, but I have talked to my reg vet and she said it may be from the medicine and was OK. She is eating her chicken and rice and loving it! We are supposed to start slowly swapping her back to regular food on Wednesday. Thanks to all her well-wishers and for the concern. It is so nice to have a group of people who understand and who can sympathize.

These fun visits to the ER can break the bank in a hurry. But, I like y'all do not care how much it costs, the critters come first....Hope all the sick younguns are better.
