| I everyone, I'm reaching out to the community as i don't know what else to do. My 13. Yr. Old male yorkie is peeing in the house at night, only. He can hold it during the day for at least 6 hrs. But at night he goes every 2-3 hrs. The vet said nothing is wrong in terms of having to pee at night. We've done pee and blood work. He's on kidney supplements and amino b plex supplement to assist as the values were a little off from the blood tests. We tried a male diaper but he gets out of it somehow during the night. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

| Limiting where he can go at night like in a crate or play pen might work. I wouldn’t use diapers for many reasons if he pees early in the night you are not going to see until the morning and he could end up with urine scald and rashes. I noticed when my now passed girl got older she was up more at night so if he isn’t sleeping well at night and is up that might be why he is peeing. Does he seem confused about anything or any other changes in behavior?

| Only suggestion I have is belly bands, they may be harder for him to get out of. Buy several for washing and dry time, and wash that area very well in the morning so he doesn't get like a babys diaper rash. Keep in mind he has gotten older, at 13 years old its harder for them to hold their urine for longer periods.Good luck

| There are different types of belly bands. They actually have some with suspenders. You can look on Ebay or Amazon. As for rashes and the like......I have three males who wear belly bands and they have never had a problem with their skin. I cleanse them with wipes when I change the pads
