| Just a little update. After being stressed about Teddy’s health over the weekend, on Monday morning I took him to another vet for second consultation. And even though she also told us the heart is not fixable, I liked her approach better. She adjusted the meds abit and told us to bring him after a week so she can examine how he is responding to the meds. Thank you for your support. I have a much better feeling about this place, so I am happy we took him here. |

| I’m so happy to hear that! It’s always good to get a second opinion if you’re not feeling confident about what the vet tells you. We all feel that we want to keep our pets from getting older. My Jake turned 9 last May, I felt some sadness too. He’s got a slight heart murmur caught during his last routine checkup, thankfully he’s shown no outward signs of it yet. Hope Teddy will improve. I’ve had lots of help here, everyone tries to help. |

Teddy seems to do better with meds. He still coughs a little now and then, but it's not constant as before. Our vet will examine him again in a week to see how he responds to the treatment and if we need to make any adjustment. Last edited by stl; 07-29-2021 at 05:14 AM. | |
