| I’m worried I was checking Precious’ mouth when I noticed these things. I don’t know if theyre bumps or just normal ridges of her lips. They feel like the rest of her lip & I can “lay them” down. I just don’t think I’ve noticed them before. It doesn’t hurt her & she was running around with a hard ball in her mouth earlier so whatever it is isn’t bothering her. The area is the inside of her top lip. I’m worried because I probably wouldn’t be able to get her seen until like February. So I really hope it’s nothing. I asked about it on PetCoach & was told it looks like areas of inflammation & to give it 3 weeks. Do your babies have these? Or have you seen these before? |

| Those definitely look like something the vet should take a look at. Why would you have to wait until February?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Are they hard or soft? If those areas seem abnormal to the surrounding tissue, then I'd get them checked asap.

| I’m pretty sure it’s normal because there’s like a ridge along her top lip. Precious seems to have a lot of the flappy part in her mouth. Maybe a Maltese trait? I checked my grandmothers yorkie’s mouth & hers was more firm |

| My cousins dog ended up having to be put to sleep because of oral cancer so if something weird pops up in the mouth I’m quick to ask the vet. As pet owners we have to be prepared for accidents and sudden issues that might need a vet.

| I know that's a big relief for you. We worry so much about our fur babies. It's too bad they can't tell us what's wrong. |
