Lump on neck
My Tucker has had a bumpy lump on his neck around his collar area. It’s about the diameter of my pinky. It’s grown slowly over several months. When I got home tonight, I noticed it has been bleeding. He most likely scratched at it. I’m just wondering if it’s something I can treat or if I should take him to my vet.

I would def. have your vet take a look at it ASAP, especially if it's bleeding, it can get infected.

Gee I hate to say this but if you had a lump or growth on yourself wouldn’t you get it checked ASAP and not let it go for awhile. You need to get your fur baby in right away. Susan I hope it turns out to be not a serious thing best wishes.

Many dogs start to develop follicular cysts or sebaceous gland cysts - and they get them throughout life and are not a big deal. However, for this first lump - you'd want it looked at evaluated to make sure it's one of those types of lumps.
