Senior Yorkie Talker | Yorkie having seizures Can someone help me please my Yorkie had two seizures been to the vet three times he's on seizure meds and just has no life in him! MRI is hoi g to cost $2,000 that I don't have. Went to the groomer and came home and hasn't been the same since one vet thinks he had trauma to the Head. Of course they're saying nothing happened to my Yorkie. |

Separately, is there a chance the groomer has any video that would cover the time your little one was in their care? Thoughts and prayers. | |

| Does the vet think he could have been dropped? I'm not really sure what you should do but I will keep you in my prayers.

Sedation is a side effect in almost *all* seizure meds, sadly. However, the sedation can decrease over time -- so please give it a little time. There are several seizure meds out there, btw, so I wouldn't hesitate to discuss other options too!!! In humans, Lamictal/lamotrigine is an extremely attractive seizure med bc it is known to be way less sedating -- I do not know if it's used in dogs - but certainly worth asking. Does the groomer have a camera in their store that records grooming sessions...?
