Is he on phenobarb or what is he currently trying..? Is it keeping the seizures away?

Sedation is a side effect in almost *all* seizure meds, sadly. However, the sedation can decrease over time -- so please give it a little time.

There are several seizure meds out there, btw, so I wouldn't hesitate to discuss other options too!!! In humans, Lamictal/lamotrigine is an extremely attractive seizure med bc it is known to be way less sedating -- I do not know if it's used in dogs - but certainly worth asking.

Does the groomer have a camera in their store that records grooming sessions...?
