| Constant cough. Hey guys. My 6 lb 10 year old yorkie has this annoying cough that just doesnt go away. He gets into coughing fit that lasts for minutes. If I ask him to stop he stops. I read online that it could be a heart worm? Is that possible? Otherwise he is fine. Eats, poops, sleeps. |

If you don't give him heartworm prevention it could be heartworms....but you really should not try to diagnose this online as there are SO many different things it could be.

| I would definitely take him to the vet. I hear there's been a nasty dog flu going around this year. It's scary!
