| Need your help! Neuro exam results Hi All, Minnie had two seizures two days ago and has not had once since. Her left legs will go out on her and she will extend them and start shaking. Minnie does shake daily. I took her to the neurologist for an exam. They want to start her on zonisamide, I have heard mix things about this medication and hope you can share your stories if you have a pup on this too. Another thing they mentioned since she does not have a menace reflux, goose stepping, patella issue, and abnormal gait they they there could be a brain abnormality. The vet suggested that we can go ahead and do a MRI and take spinal fluid for testing. I am nervous about doing this as she is 6 pounds and would have to put her under. Has anyone ever had to have their pup get a MRI? Anything advice and stories can help! |
