| HELP! Husband stepped on 13 weeks tiny 2lbs Yorkie Pup by Accident. I am so heart broken. We don't know where he stepped on. She cried for about 10 seconds and haven't heard her since. Took my baby to the vet and they took x rays which came back negative. However she is not herself anymore, her legs cramp up and she walks fine at times and other times it seems like she struggles. If she sits it takes her a while to get back on her four. I feel like she's injured and her spine is not well. She seems groggy and in another world. Any advice? I feel she's not ok even though at the Emergency Hospital they said she was ok, no broken bones and no injuries on the X-rays. She ate, pooped and peed. Gave her pain medicine but she didn't like it so not sure how much I was able to leave in her mouth. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | So sorry this happened. Going forward, I would have her wear a little bell. It's tough, bc these little ones are just SO little...and accidents happen to all of us. If you think she has physical symptoms - please - get them on video on your phone, so that you can show your vet OR a specialist -- they must be able to see what you think you're seeing.

| After all the xrays show nothing, I would take her to a chiropractor.

| I'm thinking you need an MRI and that it could be something neurological or a disc in her back.

| Please don't take her to a chiropractor. Yes, record anything weird that she may be doing. Not calling out to you could be a reaction to the pain med she was given. Take her to your vet asap so they can do more X-rays. Sometimes X-rays are foggy and can't be read right away, they have to develop like old negatives before they can be seen clearly. Please have her checked again for your own piece of mind and to make sure that she has no hidden injuries. Peace! |

| Thank you all for your comments and support!! Mimi is doing much better I took her to her birth vet to get checked out a second time and vet said she was in good shape. She agreed about her meds making her wobbly and quiet she also said I'll be looking back and wondering where that silence went once she starts tapping again lol . She has a follow up tomorrow just to see her reaction without pain medication. So far she is doing much much better and I can hear her quietly communicating when needed but limb's lameness is almost completely gone. So blessed and grateful for it !! |

| Hope all is well. I was just thinking how I would act if a giant stepped on me. I'd probably be under the bed for a few days and when I felt safe again I'd come out. I'll be this is what happened. :-) |
