Yorkie Yakker | Oh Twister, how worrying for owner Very Best wishes & Hope Pup is ok after Vets. My Pup had all her Vac's done with Breeder before i got her at 10 weeks old. So Lucky she was absolutely fine & just yearly Booster for her.

| Thats impossible. Puppies need three sets of shots. They get shots around 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks.

| I think they don't have quite as many canine diseases over there, or they are not as common. I don't know whether their vaccines are formulated differently, either. If I get a chance, I'll look into it.

| In the UK, they vaccinate for parvovirus, distemper, leptospirosis, and infectious canine hepatitis. They *don't* vaccinate for rabies unless the dog is traveling outside the UK. They have three year boosters for distemper, parvovirus, and canine hepatitis. Leptospirosis boosters are given every year. They also vaccinate for parainfluenza, which is their most common cause of kennel cough. Less common vaccines include bordetella, lyme disease, corona virus, tetanus, herpes, and giardia. They seem to have a lot more government oversight over vaccine safety and development than they do in the US.
