| Sensitive stomach/ vomit easily ??? Hi all Yorkie lovers Our Lucie is almost 1 year now. Since her 3 hour surgery to correct her spine ( ASL) she recovers very well But she vomits now and again when she is too excited or stressed . Anyone else with same problem? We have been to the Vet and found no cause for this . When she vomits, she would vomit out the food she ate previously plus a lot of foam .... then she would be quite tired and rest, after she would be normal again , sometimes even hungry and wanting to eat food Any input would be helpful! Thanks Dee |

| Hi Dee, glad to hear Lucie's spine surgery went well & she's recovering nicely. If she's vomiting some food, it could be food intolerance. Dogs vomit or have loose-diarrhea when they're sensitive to a certain ingredient in their food or protein. What are you feeding? Have you tried switching food w/ maybe a diff protein?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | IS she actually vomiting, or, is she regurgitating...? Vomiting is when they hack, hack, hack - then vomit. Regurg is when it just comes up suddenly, no warning. If it is regurg, I'd suspect GERD/reflux and would try Pepcid twice a day...

Now she jas vomitting every day for a full year!! We tried every food on the market giving each food a week. We tried plain chicken and rice as recommended by vet.. now she is on plain pedigree adult complete dry dog food.. she retches numerous times during day and vomits all her food back. She sleeps in a dog crate and every morning her bedding/ blankets are covered in vomit. She does play abd is in good form in between! Please help |

| Hi Carly, I was just researching vomiting and came across your post. I see it's from back in July. Did you ever get an answer? People are usually really good here about answering right away. If you're still interested, try starting your own thread. Hope your pup is better. |
