| I'm sure there was no intention of stoning the dog here. It was an unfortunate happening, but at least things turned out for the best. Not sure if you noticed... but this is Chewie's 2nd post ever... so be gentle they're new! Glad Chewie is doing well!

| Poor baby, I am glad CHewie is feeling better. It could have been much worse, I mean he could have gotten the Munchies!!!

YT 5000 Club Member | OMG that is what I was doing when I first read this! I would be blushing big time if the vet told me that! Even though everything is fine, I don't think I would be letting them babysit again!

| Poor Chewie! Well, at least he's recovering from it, and the vet said he would be okay

| FUNNY!!!! Its a good thing that everything worked out in the end. Good to know that they won't be sick. just last longer then humans. ;-) i think some of you guys are a little too harsh on them. Stuff happens and you can't control everything. I do believe it won't happen again and lessons learned by everyone including Chewie. smoke it not chew it. :-) |

| Chewie has been clean for 2 months now and going strong To all that replied with concerns they are much appreciated. To clear the "smoke" I didn't know my roommates were having a poker party. It was friends of thiers that were the culprits. I have talked to them and they feel really bad..I don't think this will ever happen agian...San Diego isn't the cheapest place to live and roommates are needed so I can't get rid of them. Chewie is just fine. I don't know if she got rid of the munchies because she sure loves to eat. By the way my dog weighs 5 pounds. How much do you all feed your dogs that weigh about the same? I really appreciate the online community because I know that you all love your babies as much as I do..I'll work on posting a picture of her soon...thanks again and I'll be talking to you all soon! Have a outstanding Day P.S. to all that thought they are a "stick in the mud," loosen up because live is too short to think that way. |

| As the token "stick in the mud", I'm really sorry if I offended you. Do I need to loosen up? Perhaps. But I was just trying to express my concern over your baby being around drugs that could hurt or make it sick. Guess it came out harsher than I intended. It sounds like you worked everything out and your doggie is okay - thats the most important thing of all. I think I'll be taking a break from YT for awhile. The ONE time I speak my mind I get nailed for it. |

| Don't beat yourself up!!! Quote:
You were not the the only one that expressed your concern and should not have to apoligize for it. You did nothing wrong, and I don't think what you said was harsh at all. I will have to say the drugs and animals do not mix. I had a friend lose her beloved dog because her stupid boyfriend at the time left cocaine out on a table. My friend was at work when this happens. Luckly not soon after that she realized he was not good for her. Last edited by Rockster's Mom; 01-20-2006 at 01:41 PM. | |

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | I hope that Chewie won't have any health problem later on due to this happening. I also found this very sad to happen to her, since those involved felt badly about it maybe they will give thought to what it could be doing to themselves as well. I hope so. |
