YT 3000 Club Member | chester scared me I was getting ready to leave on tuesday, and chester was not right, his breathing when he exhaled wasnt right and he was very unsteady, very wobbly. I called my vet urgently and they were able to get him in. He had a temp of 104.4 and his belly was hot. They give him banamine which is like advil to us and brought his temp down pretty quickly. He got a shot that gives him antibiotics over the course of 2 weeks plus amoxicillin for 15 days and metcam for 3 days for his temp. He had a chest xray done and it showed his collapsing trachea and his air in his stomach. He scared the crap out of me but he is back to his terriost slef now, thank god. |

| Our babies can really scare us. They're so little and have no way of telling us how they feel. Good for you for going to the vet right away. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh my gosh, scary! So, since they gave 2 different types of antibiotics, what was/is the infection...?
