| Liver values going up:( My 10 year old male Yorkie, Teddy has rising liver values. I found out only from a blood test 2 years ago when he needed a tooth removed and cleaning. I had to take him to UC Davis and they also checked for a shunt which he does not have and ultra sound was clear. He has been on Denamarin, probiotics and hepatic special liver food the last 2 years and nothing is making the values lower...only higher. He goes back to UC Davis on Tuesday so I can get more info. Before they told me a biopsy would be the next step but not sure I want to do that since he is only 9.2 lbs. Has anyone else had this issue. His values are about 1000 but not getting better. Thank You Denise, Teddy and Sarah (6lb yorkie girl: |
