| Those E-collars are terrible but necessary. There is also a collar that SORTA resembles a neck collar for humans when they have whiplash or something. The dog can eat and drink normally but cannot bend around..and get to the stitches. Also, depending on where the stitches are, you might be able to wrap the chest or body or whatever, with Koflex, a vet wrap that only sticks to itself so does not stick to the coat. The wrap would protect the wound also. It comes in neat colors so warning-don't buy that pretty red shade. Bloodis harder to see.. Smoochies from Rini and the 10 (plus 2 babies) cuties.. |

| Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that Oakley got his stitches removed yesterday. The vet said the wound is healing beautifully! I was finally able to give him a bath – after 2 ½ weeks! Thank goodness – he was looking very scruffy. So now we just have to wait til his hair grows out. Thanks everyone! |

| I'm so glad that Oakley is ok. He is such a cutie pie! I can't believe how aggressive the other pup was. I'm sooo happy that he's ok. I teared looking at his stitches.
