| Liver Count High Trixie had a high liver count and they put her on S Adenosyl 100mg. I cannot get her to take these pills. My daughter read this morning that you are not supposed to cut them up or crush them. I do not see a liquid form. Has anyone had this problem and do you have a suggestion for a different liquid form? |

| I don't know of a liquid form but they do come in a chewable that your pup might like better. A lot of dogs will just take them like a treat. Good luck!

| You could try hiding it in a little dab of peanut butter. My sister has to give her lab a pill twice a day for seizures and this works for her.

YT 500 Club Member | My little one was on so many meds a day it was a struggle. Pill pockets from Pet Smart was a life saver. I would half one or sometimes 1/3 of one depending on the size of the pill. That way they lasted longer. They can be pricey Good luck

| That adenysol is huge isn't it!!? I was able to use wet food or pill pockets for a while before she just plain refused but I had to rotate and remember to use other treats so she didn't just dread any 'gift' I offered her. We didn't make it the whole thirty days but it was enough to calm her liver enzymes back within normal limits. Check around for what you might not have seen, I came across an innocuous picture later on of lilahs dog house and think i may have had a plant too close to her house that dropped a leaf into her water and that is what she was responding too. Typical houseplant too- wouldn't have suspected it would be toxic and I didn't think it was too close but you never know. Good luck!
