YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Limp Tail - Swimmers Tail goes by many names Limber Tail Dead Tail Swimmers Tail Cold Tail This is a condition found in long tailed dogs where-in the tail drops straight down and the dog does not lift the tail up very high anymore. Well I think Dara has this. Sigh..... Anyone had any dogs with this. I will make a vet appt today - but I am wondering as from the articles I googled they did not seem to indicate an Xray be taken. This happened Sunday - and I am not sure if there was a traumatic event at the waterside as I had to take Razzle back to the van as he was cold from the water. Dave stayed with the two Blackies. Sunday we just thought everyone was exhausted. Hot day long swim. But Daras' tail still has not recouperated yet. There are no obvious dips or turns in her tail - her tail seems unbroken at least to my palpatory skills. But there is a definite reluctance to carry that beautifull tail of hers high. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this condition? Thanks in advance for any info/help

| lol isn't that always the case, no sooner you make an appointment for something that's not working or not working properly bingo it's back to good again. Hope Dara's tail stays up. Good luck with the vet.
