| Cancer Bronx is 11 we just had a tumor removed from his chest that is a malignant cancer. This type will probably not metastasize. Right now he seems fine, but they may want to do a chemo treatment I was wondering if anyone has done this and if you were glad you did or wish you had not.

YT Addict | I'm so sorry to hear about Bronx & his cancer. Tink takes an oral form of chemo - Palladia since November 2014. From what I can tell, she doesn't have any issues from it, but maybe a bit of thinning hair. They say dogs can handle chemo better than humans - but I think the IV types of chemo are a bit harder on their bodies. Prayers for little Bronx. |

| Thanks I think that's probably what they'll do with him ,they say it is meant to slow it down not a cure

| Thanks for asking Tink, he has not been back to have his stitches out from the tumor surgery, that is when we will talk about what is next. I think he is much chipper just having had the tumor removed.

| Cancer My 10 yr old female is going thru a cancer scare for the second time in 1 year. The first non mil. tumor was removed 9/14 from her upper intestine. No other treatment necessary. She was well until this 9/15. She now has a second in operable tumor that is surrounded by veins and will be starting cemo this Monday. Has any one out there had these issues with their yorkies and how did it work out for you. |

| I wish her good luck. We chose not to do chemo, so far Bronx is doing fine. The vet said he felt people were about 50/50 happy they did chemo treatment or not. Please let us know how she does with the treatment.
