| Low Heart Rate Does anyone have any experience with their yorkie having a low heart rate? I tried to search the forum but my request doesn't seem to be going through. I took Gracie in this morning for her yearly exam, blood work and dental. We didn't have the dental done due to her heart rate. We go back in 3 weeks for a recheck. Depending on what happens then, we may be off to the cardiologist for a consult and possible ECG.

| I do not have personal experience with this happening with a dog, but I do know it is not always a bad thing. How old is Gracie? This article explains the potential causes: Dog Abnormal Heart Rythym - Abnormal Heart Rythym Dog | petMD

| Gracie is 8 years old. Thanks for the link. I did read that article and a few others earlier. We haven't found her to have any of those symptoms thankfully. I hope it's nothing. She was last at the vet in January and her heart rate was 120. Today it was between 72 and 80.
