| my baby throwing up undigested food Hey here I am again my fellow yorkie lovers with another concern as this has become my #1 spot for my concerns as this is my first puppy My baby has me at panic right now. last night at around midnight I had her in my lab and all of a sudden she threw up white foam which was very odd because I never seen anything like that come out her. I didnt think nothing of it because she had just finished fasting so much water. Well, next morning at around 7am I overheard her throwing up and woke to a mess . My bed had at least 4 mid big spot of vomit from her meal the night before I know it was her meal because brown. There was also this hugee vomit spot near my bed of her meal as well. Idk what happened to her. I did some research after cleaning and saw the same answer everywhere. Which was plain boiled chicken and lil of pepto so I did that after that. I gave her some and 30 later she threw it up undigested. Then at around 5pm I gave her chicken alone. And just now at 9pm she threw it up shes been very calm lately fighting her sleep alot and moving around laying flat here and there. I made an appointment with my vet for wed it was the soonest he had. Im thinking of giving her an apple or banana baby compote. Would it be a good idea? Any suggestions ? Or idea of what she may have?. |

| Definitely no apple or banana. I would get your baby to a vet asap. Little ones can go down fast. This could be an emergency. I would be very upset with a vet who would not see my dog before Wednesday under these circumstances.

| If you live in one of the 5 boro's you can take your puppy to the ASPCA on 86th Street and East River Drive, they have excellent emergency service. Wed. is a long wait for a sick puppy.

| Babys pick up all sorts of things off of the floor. Is it possible that there is a blockage. This would certainly be an emergency. I would be looking for another vet that could see my little one right now. Possibly an emergency clinic. |

| The symptoms you are describing indicate potential obstruction. Your pup fighting sleep and moving around a lot to lie flat are indications of distress. Dehydration is a big concern with vomiting, especially in a little one. I would go to the ER tonight.

| I agree....you definately need to stop attempting to give her food and get her to a vet....I would also be seeking a different vet in the future....for now find an emergency vet.....if she has not kept anything down in 24 hours it's time to go. |

| Again, If you live in one of the 5 boro's you can take your puppy to the ASPCA on 86th Street and East River Drive, I believe they are a 24/7 ER. These babies can go down very fast, all this vomiting they can get Dehydrated very quickly, regardless if they are drinking water. Puppy needs FOOD. Please seek ER today if your vet cannot squeeze you in.

| Please consider taking her to the ASPCA so she can be seen right away. Poor baby could be very seriously ill. I am praying for her.
