| Well HE$$'s Bell's the saga continues with Luci. We got her Cortisol/Crea Ratio Urine Test results back and it shows a number that is consistent with Cushings. BUT this test is not alway's diagnostic for Cushings. So with a postive ATCH Test and a Normal LDDS Test. We are completely stumped on this. Her drinking lot's of water has come down, but she is still drinking more than she should be. We are going re-run her regular blood work and also do a thyroid panel this coming Friday and see if the sodium level is the same, worse or normal. If it's still shows low, we will be going to the Internal Specialist and having a Ultra Sound done, and possibly look into possible diabetes insipidus as that could be a possibility. So the wait continues. Luci is doing really good, eat's really good and is playful and barking at squirrels. She is just a mystery.

Yep, the urine cortisol test is not diagnostic -- it merely points you in the direction you need to go for add'l testing (ie, whether to test for Cushings or not). You may want to ask your vet to call U of Tenn - they will consult w/ vets on test results. Hoping for answers for you and Luci.
