| Winnie is doing great today! She slept all day and all night yesterday. She got up a couple times to get a drink, pee on her pad and have a little i/d for dinner with her meds. Today she is almost back to herself. Awake, alert, ears up and playful. She's tiring out a little quicker which is understandable...but all in all she's about 99% better! She was supposed to get her rabies shot today but we are going to wait until next weekend for that. She got out of her brushing last night but not this morning!! I'm remaining hopeful that we won't have any more episodes...when she start back to dry kibble she will not be going back to BB as the vet feels that it may have been the cause of an underlying GI upset that intensified her reaction to the mushroom...but we have two weeks to research a new food for her. One very good thing we did figure out was the mushroom she ate was edible and not poisonous (phew) because I found another yesterday and took it into the vet when I picked Winnie up...and she called and said she looked it up and it was indeed not poisonous!! Woot woot |
