Oh Linda! Just now reading this and my thoughts and prayers are with this little one. She is in the best hands as far as care and I know that the team looking after her at Gulf Coast is loving her like she's never been loved before. Bless her little heart! |
I am praying for this precious little one. How horrible that she is going through this hellish nightmare. |
Afternoon Update Our little flower is holding her own. She is still not wanting to eat and does not like being warmed up. They may just let her stay out of the warming Bair hugger to see if she can reset herself. They, of course, will monitor her and not let her get below 95. The one good sign they saw today is she is looking for attention and wanting to be held which tells them she is at least medicated well enough that she is not in pain. Hopefully she is a fighter and will come through it all ok. She did tell me it is touch and go. :( |
Just now reading this. My goodness. I don't know how you do it. Praying that Lily Rose recovers. |
Could barely stand to read this baby's story. God bless Linda and all those helping little Lily Rose and I'm praying she can get all the help she needs to bring her to the best health possible for her. I'm literally sick to my stomach after reading what this little thing has and is and will be going through. |
OMG poor baby girl!:(:(:( I couldn't click on her body pics...:(:(:(. So glad she's getting proper care, hoping to hear only good news on this baby girl. |
Just can't get Lily Rose off my mind. Mucho thanks to YHR for all they do! This little one needs to be heald and given some loving attention. Fight hard Lily Rose! |

This poor baby :( It kills me to think about what she has been through. I am so glad you got ahold of her and she is getting the treatment she needs. I will be thinking about her... |
Still praying for Lily Rose and hoping she begins to take a turn for the better. |
Just read about Lily Rose and it is so sad what people can allow to happen. I'm glad at least Linda she is in your Vets hands and she knows that people actually care for her and about her. Thank you once again for all that you and your wonderful team do. |
Praying Lily Rose pulls through this. Thank you for taking care of this little one in need. |
Linda, I tried to call you yesterday. I'm sure you are so busy with all of this going on. PLEASE let me know if I can go to Gulf Coast and do anything - hold her, take different foods to try to get her to eat, etc., anything at all. I can just sit with her in the ICU, if necessary. In the meantime, I donated to her page on yorkiehavenrescue, com, I know her bills must be mounting. I'll donate again after the 1st of the month! Prayers coming her way... |

Thank you everyone for your prayers! Our little flower really does need them. |
Hoping for a positive update. Her story is just so sad and it's unbelievable that anyone would treat a defenseless little animal this way. God bless the animal hospital that helps these little creatures. |
The morning update is concerning. I only spoke with the tech and am still waiting for the vet to call. I know they are busy....and I also know what they do so I am not worried...yet. Lily Rose is still having a problem maintaining her body temperature and she has one wound that is of great concern to them. They transferred her this morning from Internal Medicine to Critical Care....same place/ICU but she will have a board certified critical care specialist overseeing her care. They have two of them at Gulf Coast which is really amazing! Her bill is rising and we started a fundraiser for her on the YHR home page. So many people have donated and emailed and messaged and posted here and on FB...she definitely has a lot of friends and people praying for her! Wonderful people!! :) It just makes me sick that this poor girl has been through so much....I don't understand how these things happen. |
Just reading this and my heart is breaking for that little furbaby. I pray for a full and speedy recovering. |
Checking in on Lily Rose. My gosh! I will be at GCVS on Wednesday. I will be staying with Jasmine until she is ready to go home (Not a big fan of the Galleria traffic). Let me know if you need anything while I'm there. Still thinking of and praying for this sweet baby! |
I'm just getting home after my short visit with Lily Rose. What a precious baby. We had to visit in the ICU and had to wear gloves to keep her safe. She stayed in her cage, tucked safely between warm blankets. When we first arrived I sat on the floor next to her and she hardly moved...in fact, she was facing us and when I got on her level, she turned her little head away, almost in fear that something bad was going to happen to her. I whispered to her over and over that she was now safe and that she needed to fight; that nothing would ever hurt her again. The only part of her I could touch was the top of her sweet head, so I gently patted it over and over. Towards the end, she finally turned her head back towards us and looked at me. Yea! The tech said I could try to feed her so we gave her a few small bites of boiled chicken that we brought and she ate. In my amature medical opinion, I think that's a great sign. She's a very, very sick little girl - unable to fight off infection at this point, but certainly in the right place to combat that. Gulf Coast saved my precious boy about 8 weeks ago when there was not much hope - they are amazing. This precious baby needs continued prayers - she deserves so much more than what has happened to her. I'd love to see her happy, and healthy and able to run and play like the rest of our babies! |
Lily Rose Your description of the poor little baby broke my heart. Thank you for visiting her and giving her some comfort, soft kind words, and a little food. She must be so scared in that strange place with all kinds of procedures and meds. But she sounds very cozy wrapped in her blankets, and under the expert care of Gulf Coast. It is so sad to think of what she has been through that brought her to YH and GC, how could anyone do this to this darling creature. Surely God will hear all our prayers and see that she makes it through the trauma? She sounds a brave little girl and has the spirit to survive. Praying for good news and wishing her a speedy recovery, so she can go to a loving home and enjoy her doggy life. Hope she can feel the hug. So very sad. :-( |
I just got on and now after reading this horrible story, my stomach is in a tight knot and tears are flowing. I will be praying for this little angel that she is healed and finds a very loving family. |
Lily Rose is in critical condition. I am very worried about her....I have known she was very ill, but in speaking with the vet a little while ago, there are some issues with her that are very concerning. The specialist will be calling me back after the ultrasound has been done. Please pray for this precious baby. |
Prayers are going to sweet Lily Rose, and hope that she starts improving soon. I\'m just sick over this, as are all the other YT members praying for her. |
Linda, I first read a about Lily Rose on FB. Poor baby, heartbreaking. :( I\'m praying for her. |
Sending my prayers for Lily Rose to pull through this and put it behind her. God bless her and take good care of her. She deserves to live a happy and loved life! |
