when they told me they were doing the treatment yesterday instead of waiting until Monday as originally planned. I'm hoping we made the right decision for Jasmine. I prayed about it and my heart led me in this direction.
I don't think the team at Gulf Coast would put her through this if it were not in her best interest.

No, they wouldn't. I am hopeful that things will go well. The fact that is has not spread is good I think. Praying for both of you....I cannot imagine the stress. I have never been through this.

Yes I would have been just a little scared in the country dark! Thank you for your prayers they mean the world to Jasmine and myself.

Jasmine has eaten her breakfast and a little lunch and I have been massaging the swollen area with warm towels every few hrs. A lot of the swelling has gone down and at least both of her eyes are open now. She's been awake and very alert today but is now napping. There was a lot of drainage yesterday and just a little today (Very nasty stuff). She goes in for her next treatment on Wednesday. Right now I am just thanking God for anything she does that is positive. She was snooping around the snack box earlier and of course I gave her what she wanted. Thank you so much for thinking of her!!

Thank you! We need all the prayers we can get. I am really trying to stay strong for her and am focusing on anything and everything positive. I have decided just to take it one day at a time instead of focusing on something that hasn't happened yet. Being realistic of course but enjoying every wag of her tail!

I am so sorry to hear this! I will definitely keep your friends Lab in my prayers. What is his name? I would love to talk to your friend to compare notes. To see what her Oncologist is saying, what she is feeding, meds...Do you think if I PM'd you my phone number that he/she would be interested in talking to me?

My friends lab Mick is 10 years old. I spoke with her today and it appears I was wrong. His melanoma is on the side of his head by his ear. He's not getting radiation, he's getting a series of chemo treatments. I would be happy to give her your phone #, and ask her to call you.
