| My 8wk Yorkie My 8wk yorkie Olaf wanted to play this morning as i was getting ready for work and i turned my back for one second and he jumped off the bed and started crying i immediately grabbed him and started giving him kisses and i noticed his front right leg must of been hurting him i put him down to see if he could walk but now he is limping not crying and still playful but has a limp so i put him in his doggy bed to rest i do not want him walking on it. I am worried it might be broken what should i do?? I love him and do not want him in pain. |

| Hi and Welcome to YT! You may want to get him to the vet's to have him checked over. Puppies have no sense of height, and they try to follow you everywhere! Hope he's okay and nothing serious.

| Thank you all for the quick response, He is not home alone my 13yr old daughter dog sits for me and she is really good with him i told her to not let him run around and to massage it for him and if anything call me and i will leave work. She just messaged me and said he got up and ate then tried running around but he was still limping so she has him on her lap and is rubbing it for him. |

| Rubbing it could hurt him I would not do that. He needs to go to the vet it could be broken or anything and waiting just lets him suffer.

| Thanks for the update, I've been thinking about him all day, happy to know it's only a sprain. Yorkies are so hyper, they love to run and jump on everything.
