Has anyone had any liver problems with their babies? Bella has been so sick and blood work shows liver. Vet is treating for infection. So worried...

My Max just diagnosed with Liver shunt/hepatic encephalopathy and I'm devastated by the news. He also has 2 other genetic conditions so we are implementing a low protein diet to manage it. He has been on food 2 days and has not vomited. He still steeps most of day and wants to be alone. Personality is totally different, but since HE affects brain, that is expected.
