My Allie who is very prone to this, is at the Vet now getting IV fluids, antibiotics.

She will be there all day. This makes the 4th time she has had this.

I knew the minute I saw blood what was going on.

I think it was stress that brought it on this time. Our AC went out on Memorial Day week-end, and while it was warm in the house, night time being the worst since it wasn't as comfortable , all the fans I had running seemed to bother all the girl's.

My Jilly had that a few times over her lifetime and I know how awful it is for poor little Allie and for you - the worry is awful and the dog is suffering and so sick. I'm so sorry and will pray she's soon much better. Poor little doggies - they don't deserve what some of them have to go through just trying to live their lives.

Allie is home now. She was there all day on IV Fluids and got her antibiotics.
She is laying on my bed now sleeping. Can't give a full meal until tomorrow.

The key with HGE is getting them to Vet ASAP and get them on IV Fluids.

It has been almost a year since her last attack.

I took her back to the Vet this morning at 8 and left her there until noon, so she could get some more IV Fluids. We did it as precaution.

She is eating about 1/2 of what she normally eat's, but at least she has something on her tummy to take her med's.

She seems to be doing Ok, she is just laying around napping.
