| Sick 4 week old pups Please can some one help I have a litter of 7 and 2 of the have been trying to be sick I don't think they fetch anything up but I could tell they were trying to be sick I have just been trying to wean the pups as mummy is not doing it anymore please help could it be the food or is it more serious |

| Are they listless and lethargic? Diarrhea? If so,take these babies and have them tested for parvo. This is the age when parvo seems to become an issue......and seems like there are way too many people on here with babies that have parvo.....it seems to be going around. If you do take them and they are diagnosed with parvo, I would really encourage your vet to start them on Tamiflu. |

| When my newborns need supplementing I give them Second Step, Esbilac, Karo syrup and water warmed to room temperature I use my finger or a small syringe At 4 weeks they should have full round bellies and shiny coats If they dont they need a vet visit to check for illness and anatomical irregularities They must be kept warm and hydrated Good Luck! |
