| Sad yorkie Hope some one can help my yorkie gave birth to 7 pups 4 weeks ago and has been a good mum up until yesterday she is so unsettled crying and walking around she will not eat her normal tin food at all she is drinking and if I offer her ham or tuna she will eat I have started to ween the pups as she really does not want to do it anymore is she sick or do all dogs go through this when weening there pups |

| Have you taken her temp? Yes, she could be sick....she could have an infection....are you sure she passed all the placentas? Has she had her post whelping vet exam? I would have her seen by a vet to make sure there is not something else going on...unsettled and crying is not something I want to see at this stage. If she checks out OK, you have access to Royal Canin puppy formula....use it, warmed to teach the babies to lap from a shallow saucer....they dont do well with depth at this age so keep everything on a shallow saucer....then you can mix that warmed puppy formula in with the Royal Canin puppy mousse, thinned to the consistancy of a pudding,,,,you can start with letting them lick it from your finger....but please have momma checked out. |

| Sick yorkie Yes I had her checked out 2 weeks ago and the vet was very happy with her and said she was very healthy what else could it be thanks for your help |

| A lot can change in 2 weeks, I would take her back to the vet.

| She sounds like something is wrong. I would go back to the vet with her and the little ones since a couple are sick also!
