| lallas won't stop throwing up! My 16 month old yorkie won't stop throwing up! This morning I thought its cos she didn't eat, so I gave her a nausea tablet, then some food, she won't keep anything down! Iv given her nutristim and a bit of honey, we have flagyl aswell, but she can only have that twice a day! I don't know what to do! We havnt got a cent on our name, we just tiled the house! Husband is trying to take a small loan out now and we will take her to the vet asap! But what can I do for her so long? She doesn't keep anything down! |

| Thanks for the support, no I always keep my eyes on them when they are outside, she and my other yorkie seem to regulary get the intestinal virus, I still had medicine tinking it was that, but she isn't keeping it down, I'm stressing so much I can't stop shaking and crying, I'm waiting to hear from my husband now, he is trying to come home early from work now so we can take her to the vets, and she is now getting dehydrated aswell, I don't know what to do besides give her honey water with a syringe, sometimes she keeps it in, and other times she gets sick! I have lost count on how many times she got sick now today. |

| can you put a quick call into the vet to see if there is anything else you can do to help her until you get there?? sorry I wish I had more advice to give. you have to try and calm down though because your being upset is only going to upset her further. try to stay calm and take deep breaths. sending many prayers everything will be ok.

| Thanks, she is sleeping at the moment, just wish husband would come home quickly now! She has had her parvo vaccines, but can they still catch it if they had all the vaccines? She has had the 5 in one vaccine. Last nite she chewed on a rawhide stick, I hope that hasn't made her sick or given her a blockage |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I hope you're able to take her soon. I know you're so worried and scared, so hang in there....you'll get her there soon. Can you try giving her a bit of bread? Sometimes, bread helps bc it can absorb any nauseous juices in her tummy. Given how violent she's vomiting though, she may not keep it down...but it may be worth a try to settle her a bit.

| She won't keep it down, I tried that as well, but she just drank water by herself now, my husband will be home in about 10 minutes, then its a 30 minute drive to the vets, I pray she will be okay until then, I will let u know what's wrong with my little baby girl as soon as I know. Please pray for her, she is such a sweet baby, brings me so much joy and happiness after I lost my other yorkie so suddenly, I can't lose another one so soon |

| Just back from vets! She has a nasty intestinal virus again, could be from the water and the air, but she had 3 lots of antibiotic injections, one of them apparently burns, so she gave it her while I stood outside, it was so painful that her anal sacs emptied all over the doctor!!! Gosh! Also got antibiotics for 5 days to give her and must give her rehydrate stuff every hour tonite! Gonna be a long nite! But she has not got sick once since the vets so I'm sooo pleased! Thanks for the prayers! |
