Linda, this is so unbelievable and heartbreaking - to go from where she was to this state in so little time - so sudden and such a shock to the two people who love her so dearly. All we here can do from here is pray hard for a turn for the better as her body beats this disease process. Little Piper looks so brave and courageous in her picture when she must have been feeling so ill and weak. May God heal and return her to good health. Tell Bobbie and Tony we are with them and Piper in spirit. |
My goodness, I am praying hard for them all. Please let the vets find the answer to treat her and heal her...may her parents find the strength to endure...and most of all Piper...keep her safe. |
I'm just now reading this. Although I don't know Piper or the owner, my heart is breaking for them both. Piper's picture brought me to tears. I'm praying very hard for this baby right now and for the owners. May God give this little dog a chance to live it's life with good health for many years. My thoughts are with you. |
There is no chance she could have gotten into marijauna. |
Thank you for all your prayers I want to thank everyone for all your prayers for our baby girl. Even tho she is only five months old. She has stolen our hearts. Our Piccolo is missing his friend. Looking at her you would not think she was such a sick little girl. She was a happy baby when she saw her mommy yesterday. Techs told me she was barking at them. That was her first time to bark since she got sick. She ate for me, we played a little then she just wanted to cuddle with mommy and sleep. I are still praying for a miracle this morning. If we could just get that blood sugar to go up and stay up. She is a fighter. But, in the end, Tony and I will do what is best for our baby girl. I will keep ya'll updated as soon as I hear from the Dr. this morning. Thank you all for all your support. The people in this forum have shown more support for a total stranger and her baby, than alot of my friends. God Bless all of Ya'll |
I have been following your thread praying to read good results. I am torn apart for this precious lil baby and for you too. Piper has been in my prayers and will continue to be. I have been in your shoes and know the pain you are in. Still praying for good results, stay strong. (((hugs))) |
You fight Baby Girl Piper...we're all praying for you. Your mom, dad and brother need you to come home! |
Prayers for your Piper this morning and well wishes from my Piccolo to your Piccolo and family. |
Still praying for Piper. I thought of something last night. I'm sure the Vet has already checked this out. But is it possible there is a tumor on the Pancress as this organ has a lot to do with with the Blood Sugar levels. |
I will ask Dr. When he calls this morning |
I'm wondering if she got into xylitol. Would there be a possibility of that? You mentioned her eating human food... Do you know if it was a sugar free product with xylitol? |

Piper Update Our girl is fighting. her blood sugar is up to 134. They are going to take her off the dextrose to see if it will hold. This is a good sign. Still have to talk to vet for other information. But she is more alert and energetic and is eating. Still have to talk to the Dr. for other results. Will keep ya'll updated as soon as I hear something. God is Good |
