YorkieTalk Newbie! | enlarged liver My 7 yr. old Yorkie was vomiting too much, I took her to the vet, they took X-rays and found she had an enlarged liver, therefor they did an ultrasound to see if maybe she had cancer. They determined everything was good, THANK GOD, they now can't figure out why the liver is enlarged. They said that possibly she could have gastritis. The vet gave her Royal Canin "gastro intestinal low fat" for a few days until she felt better then to continue her regular food which I give her "Fromm Gold Weight Management Dry Dog Food" (she tends to gain weight easy and is not every active). Reading online and speaking to others it is suggested that I give her Milk Thistle and change food to white fish. I am very worried and don't know what to do. Do you have any suggestions or can guide me? |

| Hi and Welcome to YT... sorry your pup is ill. Did the vet run any blood work? Liver enzymes need to be checked.
