| Does my puppy have a UTI? Hi! I have a 4 month old puppy who, for the most part, is doing very well with potty training. We are not using pee pads just pottying outside. He goes to the door when he needs to go out and do his business. I brought him home at 8 weeks old. He was pretty much peeing every 20-30 mins. He is still asking to go outside to pee about every 30 mins. Because there's snow on the ground, I've noticed I'll take him out, he'll squat but not pee. I thought maybe he is just going by the door out of habit but today I ignored him and he dribbled 3 small dots on the carpet. He does sleep through the night from 9:30pm to about 5:30am. Is this normal for a puppy this old? Or should he be going out less and holding it? |

| It's best to have your vet check him over. Sometimes they learn to 'fake pee' bc they know they'll get to go out, lol.

| I had a urinalysis done the other day on a sample of Enzo's urine. Enzo has a UTI and crystals in his urine. The vet put him on an antibiotic and a probiotic. He will need another urinalysis done in 10 days to see if the crystals are cleared up. Hopefully the antibiotics help. Poor little guy |
