I bet your vet has one in the back and you just have not seen it! They sell them to vets here: http://www.woodleyequipment.com/uk-v...ssories/89.htm

| WOW then I would certainly be looking for a new Vet. A Microscope is one thing that used daily in Vet practices.

| If your vet doesn't have a microscope, I would find a new vet. They're kind of a necessity. We use ours at the clinic I work at several times a day. |

| Sounds like pain to me as well...the steroids may make him feel better...but what is the problem. Hope your vet sees this and refers him asap. Prayers...I am very concerned.

If that's the case, then you really, really must change your vet....remember, they were invented in Europe....very happy to hear that your little boy is on the up - praying for you that continues ![]() Quote:
I promise you, from the bottom of my heart, that our vets have all the mod cons. We do not sedate with brandy or a bash over the head any more....our equipment is sterilised....we do not remove testicles with a tight rubber band.... Sally + Harry x | ||

| Well best £14 I spent yet. Was desperate yesterday and spoke to a vet specialist in the States last night with 41 years experience and he has hit the nail spot on, we now think it's a slipped/herniated disc. Gizzy is a lot brighter today and ate his first full meal last night too. All the symptoms match and can mimic tumours in the brain but because he's not disorientated it would appear it's not a tumour! So great news we hope....lots of rest for little man then back to the vets next week, a new one that is that specialises in orthopaedics, Better service from over a thousand miles away than face to face! Thank you so much everyone, I'm absolutely relieved that it's not his brain it would seem and he's come on loads in the last day with restricted mobilization by us literally containing him in his crate when we can't watch him for more than 5 minutes. x |
