Donating YT 30K Club Member | My Roxie has a scratched cornea Boy when it rains it pours! Friday night I notice Roxie was keeping her left eye closed. I had bathed her earlier and thought maybe I had gotten shampoo in her eye. We were in the middle of a bad snow storm and the roads were bad.I debated taking her to the ER vet but with road conditions I was afraid. I had some BNP ointment and put that in until I could safely get her to the vet the next morning. After I put the ointment in she settled down and slept all night. The vet opens at 8 but the appointments don't start until 9. They said I could bring her right in and one of the vets was there and would see her. They did the stain test and she has a superficial scratch on her cornea. The vet put her on Tobramycin drops and she is doing much better. While I was checking out, the vet I usually see was at the counter and she said how many times have you been here this week? I said this is my 4th. I said I'm just going to leave my Visa card here. She said they would put a cot in one of the rooms for me. lol Roxie goes back Tuesday for another stain test. Pixie has shown no improvement with being on the enalapril as far as her being depressed. She goes to the specialist 2/4. I would appreciate prayers and positive thoughts for my babies. Thanks

| Poor Roxie and you! Praying for you and your adorable girls. Roxie will heal quickly because you noticed it right away. Praying Pixie starts improving soon. This dreadful weather probably isn't helping. Sending gentle hugs to Roxie and Pixie.

| It seems when it rains it pours for sure. I feel so bad for you, Roxie and Pixie and am praying that they both recover and get back to feeling good. Breaks my heart that Pixie hasn't shown improvement and I hope you can soon get a diagnoses and a treatment plan that will help her. Hugs to you!

Today Pixie was up and about a tiny bit more. I am hoping the medicine is bringing down her blood pressure. I am very nervous about her visit to the specialist next week, but want to get a proper diagnosis. That way we can make sure we are treating her correctly. Thanks for asking. Hoping your little girl is doing better.

| That's good that Roxie's eye is healing quickly. You are lucky to have specialists in your area for Pixie, and I know waiting for a diagnosis is about the hardest time. Once you know for sure and can fine tune the treatment, you will feel more empowered. Gosh our little ones sure can make us worry sometimes. I'm exhausted, but Meika seems to feel just fine.

| Just seeing this but relieved to see that both girls are now better. Whew! It's been a bad time for you and the girls, Patti! How is your Pixie doing with her fears? Isn't she the one who was having bad panic attacks last year? I keep thinking about her and wanting to ask how she's doing with the noises and things that scared her so.
