| Food choices for my sweetie with a liver shunt Oliver, my healthy 4 year old had the surgery when he was 6 months old. Since then, he's been on Hill's L/D diet - but can't stand it! i have to force him to eat.. i heard that Spot's Stew is a good choice and better for him - does anyone have any feedback? and anyone have any other ideas?? thanks! |

| I'm in the same boat. My 3 lb 3 year old also has a liver shunt and HATES Hills food with the exception of Recovery. I've tried Spots and she liked it for a few days and then turned her nose up. I am now considering cooking my own or trying the raw diet. I have concerns about the Raw diet though. If you'd like to private message me perhaps we could compsre notes. |
