| Frazer in the vets Hi everyone and happy Xmas x my Frazer gsd 1yrs old snatched a wool mitt of dh mum, I tried to get it but gulp and gone, was told to wait and see if it pop out the other end as it was a small mitt, but no sign of it and he was full of energy ,eating and pooing as normal so I just took him in to vet anyway, they done X-ray and there it was still in stomach they asked me do I want to wait and see if it will pass or go ahead and take it out .i told them to get it out, thank god I did as it was swollen with food and it wasn't going anywhere and cud have caused him serious illness . Thank god for insurance , they are keeping him in till Saturday all being well, he has 20 stitches poor man . That's the first ever that Frazer had any interest in clothing

| Yikes dogs eat the darnest things! You made the right decision to get it out, it would've probably caused a blockage, then it would've been an emergency situation. Hope Frazer recovers nicely & stops eating things he's not supposed to!

| Bless his heart, poor baby! I know you have a tough weekend ahead of you. Hopefully this will be his last attempt to eat clothing. I can't imagine how he could have swallowed a mitten. He's lucky he didn't choke to death before it went down. Crazy Frazer! He may be mad at you for now, but I sure am glad they got it out before it caused even more damage, or worse!
