| Tooth Extractions Hi All, It's been a while since I've posted on the forums, and tonight seemed as good as any to restart! Our pup, 3yr old yorkie Lacie, had 6 tooth extractions today (all back row). She just finished her procedure and we're waiting for the doctors to let us know that we has woken up. I'm a nervous anxious wreck altogether. Have any of you gone through oral surgeries with your pups? Any tips for a speedy recovery and better oral care? Thanks! |

| George had 6 teeth out a few months back, vet gave me some soft food to feed him for a couple of days, no exercise, stairs, running or jumping for 3 days (impossible in my house) report back to vet if breathe gets smelly as he may get food stuck in tooth holes before it heals, and try to clean his teeth, showed me how to wipe them with a little swab as the tooth brush no good, something I should have started when he was a pup Merry Xmas

| Callie had her large cruncher tooth pulled and it had stitches. She had to have her food softened to mush for a week and could not eat or chew anything hard. Sammy had 6 teeth pulled when my mom first rescued him and he was fine the next day wanting to eat regular food and everything.
