| Sammy's bump Ok so a month and a few weeks ago Sammy had a tiny little bump pop up vet thought it would heal and go away. It did not after a month and seemed to grow pretty fast so we went back a week ago and when they went to touch it, it bleed a bit so he was put on antibiotics and hydroxyzine so he would stop scratching it. I looked at it last night when he was over here and there was no change and he just looks like he doesn't feel good so my mom was going to call the vet today. Well she was up all night with him because he just kept crying and she got him into the vet this morning they put him on pain meds and are going to have to cut it off at the skin and send it away they said it would be extremely hard to remove the whole bump because where it is at (kinda under his eye/ check) that there is not a lot of extra skin. I did not go with her when I normally do. They tried to get some liquid from it and look at it under the microscope and all she could see when she did was blood. They talked a lot like it could be cancer. They said if it is they will have to refer us to a specialist for that. He is having it removed tomorrow and I know my mom has got to be worried like crazy because I know I am. Prayers and good thoughts for Sammy would be greatly appreciated. I can't help but cry right now.

| Gosh, it almost sounds like it could be the 4th premolar...but it wasn't. Hoping it's not cancer but just an abcess & all will be ok for Sammy once it's removed!

| Thanks every one sorry I didn't update sooner. Sammy go out of surgery fine he was a bit groggy when we picked him up but honestly his bumped looked better being cut off even with the spot cut and his face sealed up by the surgical glue. He had another bump removed from his ear that has opened up once and was cauterized but grew back and they used two stitches on that one. He had to borrow Callie's kiss-e collar thankfully he doesn't know its pink with crowns on it lol. I tell you one the kiss-e collar is the best way to go the ones in the store are just to heavy even the one for small dogs. We will be getting him one soon after Christmas for emergency's like this I suggest every one have one on hand The Kiss-E Collar. Anyway they got it sent out today and it will be 7-10 days. We are hoping we will find out before Christmas so hopefully it will be good news and we can have a great Christmas! I will update this thread when we know. He can't play with them now but we did buy him some new toys while he was in surgery. Prayers for it to be not cancer are greatly appreciated and for healing.

| I am very happy to hear surgery went today and that Sammy is home. You have to share a picture of him in Callie's pink crown Kiss-E collar. Praying for good news from the test results.
