Continued prayers for your little fella. Im glad the you found something he is able to eat and keep down. After everything he's been through his little body needs a good rest and I know he is just happy to be home with his mommy !

Alright! Hard poop! I totally know what you mean. If I even see semi soft poop I start panicking! Glad to hear the little guy is doing better.

Labels can be very misleading. Some are made in the USA but the meat comes from China. Hope your little guy is much better!

This labeling thing is so true. You should check to see where the meat came from. If not listed - don't buy it. It's not worth the risk.

Sooo last time he went potty (stool) was Sunday afternoon, it's been about 48 hours. I've been giving him chicken and rice, but the stinker eats around the rice. I tried mixing everything really well but he finds a way to get the chicken out lol ... is the protein getting him constipated? Should I give him canned pumpkin? If so, how much?

After all he's been through I would hate for the pumpkin to cause more loose stool issues. Maybe you could try mixing some moistened kibble in with the rice and chicken and gradually switch him back to his regular food. It certainly doesn't take long for these little ones to get attached to some good eats.

I know this was days ago, but in the future, YES give pumpkin. It will NOT give him runny stool. It balances the water content in the stool somehow and is good for both constipation and diarrhea. Works every time for my girls
