Thanks to everyone for your kind well wishes. It's been a week now and Bailey seems to be his old self. Short of his poor shaved front leg, he is back to normal. We still have no idea how he got so sick, but the more I think about it, it may have been some turkey that fell on the floor. Bailey is very smart. He knows to stick close by when either we are cooking or cleaning up the kitchen. There he has a shot at snarfing something to do with that yummy people food. That turkey we think had been soaked in garlic. other than that, we just don't know.

But I'll share a cute tale our vet told us. he has a friend down in Tampa Florida who is a vet. The doctor made so much money off of poor dogs who got sick eating people food and table scraps that he was able to buy himself a big boat. Know what he called it? Table Scraps.

No people food!!!

So relieved to hear he is back to his old self. I gotta agree with the no people food.

Thanks everyone. Now Bailey is sick again. This time with fever and constant sneezing. It appears he is struggling to breathe. So another trip to the vet, some shots, medicine and he is racked out under a blanket in my office. He has a cold.

You are an excellent Yorkie mom. You took Bailey in to the vet and now I hope he will feel better soon. Poor little fella, at least you are there for him. Sending prayers for healing and health soon.
