Also, have you tried crating her? She'll whine and cry but you could limit the areas of the house and save from cleaning up yuck spots. Yes, she is so small, I'd be VERY nervous of having to go through surgery. Best of luck to you and your girl.

Awww Im so sorry to hear of the baby you lost to anestishia (sp)?...and although I am not experienced to what you are going through I wish you all the best....Good Luck! Oh and by the way....the pic on your avatar is sooooo cute....can you post more of her?

Oh stormy, I just read your other post too about your baby yorkie that is missing from your moms when you visited for the holidays! Have you found him yet?????

Thats what we do too. we use small panties and use a pad in them.

I completly understand that you are going through a hard time because we lot our 7 month old yorkie on the operation table also!! This will sound crazy but we used children's dipers to help with the problem of bleeding and the peeing. We would just change the diaper as often as needed, and that was the most protection that we could get for her. One thing to keep in mind is that you do not have much longer to get the problem fixed....she will be done with her season soon. Hope that you make it... thinking of you.

I love the look of the Piddle pants by Joybbies. 4 to 6 weeks delivery... They look amazing! I bet they would stay on no prob!

Thank you for empathizing...it is such a horrible thing to lose a little furbaby that way and something you can never really get over.

I guess we will make it....we will have to....

Thank you all so much for all of your comments and suggestions. I will be so busy trying them all out that before we know it the time will be over and we will be back to normal here !!

Yes...that is where she is right now....next to me in her crate

Is it possible that females have a tendency to "mark" when in heat? I swear my Angel would when she was in heat, especially if she was outside in the yard. She would pee, run a few feet, pee, run, pee... It was pretty funny, actually.

Gracie did not mark in the house, but she'd run all over the yard and do it. Now, a friend brought her dam in heat over and let her on the floor. BIG MISTAKE!!!! She ran through my house tinkling in about 4 spots...needless to say, I was not thrilled but her momma did clean it up. So, yes, from experience, I'd have to say that girls mark just like the boys do.
