| Update: Anna has been on Hills Metabolic since Wednesday. She weighed 7 lb 12 oz at her check up. As of this morning, she is 7 lb 6 ounces. It appears to be working. She eats it ok. The vet would like to see her around 5 pounds. Of course, she would prefer me to continue home cooking for her, but my husband and I are holding strong. I was very worried because she was scratching a lot before on dry food and I thought it was the dry food causing it, but her itching seems to have calmed down. It certainly isn't any worse. We noticed yesterday that she was jumping and dancing around a lot throughout the day. Her energy seems to be much better. We still have a ways to go, but hopefully the food will solve some of her issues.

| I have heard good things about that food. I am getting ready to start two of mine on it...they have lost weight on other diet foods, but quickly gain it back. They are siblings and I really do think this is a genetic thing....metabolism or something. Glad it is working for Anna...hope she does well.

| Glad Anna is doing better. Itching is a terrible problem.

| Yes it is! We may never get to the bottom of that one. I have started only bathing her went absolutely necessary. She was getting so chubby that her little legs couldn't reach the places she needed to scratch.
