Thanks guys. It helps to have YT support. I am counting down the minutes until I get the call that the surgery is over, and she is awake. This is going to be the longest day ever! Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. I'll update as soon as I hear something!

All the best for Sapphire! Hope the surgery goes well & she'll have a speedy recovery. She might need soft food for a couple of days...go grocery/ shopping, it will distract you loll.

Still no word - going crazy here! Crossing all my fingers, and hoping for the best. I'm trying to will them to call me, LOL, but it's not working. Thanks for your kind words and support. I already have some soft food ready for her for when she is able to eat.

Thank goodness!

I just heard from the vet who did the surgery. Sapphire did very well, and she only needed four extractions (one of which was a retained baby tooth) - they had estimated ten, so they were in better shape than they originally thought. I can go and pick her up at 4:00! Thanks again for all the prayers, and support. So happy it all went well!

Her birthday is in September, and she is my precious gem, so that's where her name came from

Radar has had two teeth to abscess! One under his eye and one on the lower jaw! Those are the only teeth he's missing and he's 8 years old! Vet was shocked that those teeth were abscessed since because of his age and heathy gums and teeth! But he did well with the abstractions!

Thank you very much. Sapphire is only six years old, but her teeth weren't the greatest from the beginning, luckily the rest seem to be in pretty good shape now. My eight year old, Gellica, has great teeth. It's just one of those things. Love your avatar by the way.
