Just checking in to see how you and Buster are doing...always, so nice to read everyone's post and see all the love and support for you and little Buster. I love the picture you posted he sure looks happy and content! God put him in the right hands and loving home to be loved and taken care of! He has touched so many lives and I know how much he has touched yours and your husbands not to mention your girls too! I hope Buster has many many more good days then bad and I hope you know we always have you in our thoughts and prayers...big hugs!

Thank you, to both of you! I can't help but do an update, because Buster has had two really good days in a row. I feel absolutely positive that his enlarged lymph nodes have become smaller this week. That has to help him feel better. He is certainly running around and barking, etc. I know this status will not last forever, but I am thrilled that for now he seems to be feeling great. One day at a time.... Also, I think the prednisone and Pepcid ac, are contributing to helping him feel like his old self.

Oh Lisa that makes me happy to hear...such a incredible little boy going through so much! One day at a time is right...and so happy he has had two really good days way to go Buster! Positive thoughts hugs and kisses and prayers all coming your way....

Lisa, I'm so sorry to read that Buster has been sick. Hopefully he will do well. One of the nurses at our hospital has a beagle who had lymphoma and received chemo about three years ago. Bailey is still kicking, eating her tomatoes off her plants and walking my friend a couple of miles every day :)

I am sorry that I haven't posted before now, Lisa. I am keeping Buster in my prayers. I am happy to see your last post that he had a couple of good days in a row. How is he doing today?

Thinking of Buster and you and praying he is continuing to have good days, and that his swelling in his nodes continues to go down.

I do think that he thinks he Super Dog sometimes! I feel certain that the prednisone and Pepcid ac are helping him feel pretty much normal.

He is having a good week and he even had chemo yesterday. Thank you Carla!

Thank you both of you for keeping Buster in your prayers. It is working! He went for chemo yesterday and a checkup. Most of his lymph nodes are smaller than before. (8/9 nodes) His treatment appears to be making him feel better for now. I realize that his condition is terminal, but I am so glad that right now he is enjoying taking walks, barking at interlopers on the sidewalk, eating whatever he can beg ;), chewing, and getting scratched. Pretty much his normal life around this house. :)

Just read this thread, Lisa. So sorry that your little one has to go through this. Difficult to see our little ones suffer. It's a blessing he has you, and I'm sure that he has blessed you. :love:Love to Piccolo and Buster.:love:

Happy to hear that Buster is doing will and responding to the treatment. Wishing him more good than bad days. He is such a lucky boy to have you in his life for all of his days. Keeping him in my thoughts and prayers that he continues to show improvement.

Amazing! Ladyjane so wisely posted that no one knows how long and we do not come with expiration dates. Love that thought!

Lisa, I wanted to check in to see how Buster's been feeling with the ongoing chemo treatments. It's so encouraging to read he's enjoying barking at passing interlopers, :D eating well and enjoying his everyday life. You GO Buster! ;)

Buster is enjoying his days because you are taking good care of him. You will be blessed for that. He has lots of prayer surrounding his little fur body. I will pray for him today and keep hoping he will be healed. Our lives are in the Hands of the Creator and only He numbers our days and the precious dog days too. May today be beautiful for you and Buster!

Thanks friends! Buster has been having a great week and the chemo does not appear to be making him feel yucky. Right now he is taking a nap in his Cloud 9 bed next to me. He is such a sweetie.

Just wanted to let you know I follow this thread daily & you & Buster are in my thoughts. I had mentioned earlier to you that my little Roxy was 4 years old when we discovered her lymphoma. Chemo & radiation weren't recommended to me-I don't know why. I hope it brings you more quality time with Buster.
